about

With Skid Row, James Ferraro constructs himself as a modern day anti-hero of Los Angeles and his poetic words showcase an increasingly “apocalyptic” view of the city. Written in charged prose and using samples from a variety of newscasts, VHS tapes and more, Skid Row speaks to the superficiality of Los Angeles, the 1990 race riots, and class warfare yielding Ferraro’s strongest work yet.
